This is actually my first human figure and at first it was daunting. I wasn't sure about the measurements or if there was a particular skill to painting still figures. As I started painting, I thought about what I wanted to say about the female form and I realised that for me, the body of a woman is warmth and heat. When I think about my body, I think of it in terms of temperatures and that is what I painted. Its my idea of what the beauty of the female body in thermal looks like.
